Need help please (Tire Problems)

Guys I have two problems with the car tires.

First, I am getting low tire pressure warning every other day. I am filling up the air and the warning goes away and again within 2 or three days the warning comes again.

Can any one tell me what could be the problem?

Secondly, yesterday while I was driving on freeway 85 to 90 miles/hour I suddenly got a Tire maintenance warning on the screen (See the attached image). I stopped and checked all my tires are fine. Tire pressure also was good. From then onwards I get that message everytime I start my car.I am thinking of taking the car to the dealer tomorrow.

did any one have a similar problems?

Thanks.

If you check your manual this is just a reminder image that you or anyone can set. It does not mean anything. You can shut it off or change the setting, it tells you how in your manual.

As to your sensor light coming on every few days, get your Dealer to reprogram your sensors with your car.

Please realize that the tire sensors are sometimes wrong and cannot be relied upon over manually checking, but really serve as a reminder to manually check. If the tires are ok with a gauge then the remote nanny tire transponders are erroneous at that point of time, but they are sometimes correct too. My wife's Pathfinder's transponders were annoying like that, but once they were correct and a tire was low (with a nail).

The tire maintenance message on the screen is a reminder to take the car to the stealership so they can charge you for NOT rotating the tires on your 2008 G35S. First look in the owners manual for how to reset. If its still anything like the 07 owners manual its confusing and maybe we can help you.

The maintenance is just a reminder. Nothing wrong with the car.

Just reset it using the buttons on the dash.

Thumbs up

I had the same problem with the tpms light comming on every other day also. I went to the Nissan Dealer(Infiniti is 75 miles away) asked about it and this is what the service person told me, go 2 lbs over the normal (recommended) tire presure in each tire and the tpms light should go off. It worked just as he said it would for me. Try that out and see if that helps you.
