20x9 rims on G35x

Hey Guys - the answer of this question has probably been answered numerous times but I just want to verify.

Will 20x9 rims (all around) fit my g35x 07's with no problem?

Or will I need spacers? and/or rollout?

and if it does, what size tires do I need? (I still get confused with all the tire specs).

Thx a million guys.

depends on if you're going to lower it, i'm guessing around +40 to 45 for unlowered

+30 to 35 lowered

look at the picture thread, alot of good info with wheels and offsets

If you're lowering the car you can run with 245/35 tires all around with a +35 offset and you wont have a problem.

awesome. thanks! So I guess 20x9 will fit just fine. When I was on the phone with a dude from the rims store, he said it will fit just fine with no offsets. I didnt know if he was right or not.

Im not lowering it becuz I have winter climates here in Toronto.

20X9 with 0 offsets is killer, lol

offsets makes a big difference, especially going larger width, less room for error, too high of an offset will rub the inner frame, too low will stick out low rider style

as for tires, google tire calculator, put in stock settings and put in desired settings... i'm guessing for 9 wide, tires that 'fit' normally is somewhere between 255 to 275
i had 245's on 9 (also had 235's on 9) on my old ride, it looks decent, but may be kinda stretched for normal folks, haha

22's = balla

if you're not lowering the car at all then i'd do 20x9 +40 with a 245/35 or you can go with a 255/35 tire if you want a little more meat.

I don't know much about cars but hmm

lowering the vehicle about 1inch + 19 inch wells @ 255 or so. Will I need spacers or offsets or anything? LoL... this might be stupid so im sorry if it is.

How much is it to lower a G35x anyway?

My 19"s

I am running 245/45-19's on 19x8.5" @ 38mm offset on my Skyline 250GT four / G35x...

The extra meat of the sidewall on these tires keeps the ride quite nice & semi-plush...

Here's all the info in a earlier thread...

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v36-2007-08/209906-new-take-old-wheels.html

Offset tucks in just right with no rubbing...

Cheers,
