ya the biggest thing is that i want the look of the 245/40 19, but i want the tire tredlife of a all season, which is why i think that kumho lx platinum is the best fit. tred life rating is 600, and it comes in the size i want. i think it will also ride smooth, which i like since i dont drive agreesive at all, i want minimal roadnoise and i want to feel the least amount of bumps as possible while having a lowered car on 19s....i know that not easy. but i think this setup should work. we will see i guess. i love the treat pattern of ur kumho's Texas.

Your asking an awful lot from a 40 series tire. The higher the aspect ratio, the better the ride. If you want comfort, you should stay with 18" or even 17", that will give you the best ride and the least noise. Not having a sport suspension will help a lot also.

Please let us know how it goes! I am NOT satisfied with my Falkens. Handle well, not bad noise, great in the rain, but MAN they wear out fast!

have only put a little time on my 19" Kuhmo Ecsta SPTs but thus far, they are quieter than the stock 18" Bridgestones, handle better and I haven't been able to really notice a ride difference. Wife agrees, no change in harsheness, but the grip is much better. not too mention, these Ecsta SPTs are nearly half the cost of the higher end lines of tires and if they have 3/4 the treadwear of them, then they'll be well worth it.

looking back do u think if you had a chance to redo the tires....would u have got 245/40 on all four wheels? i think after ur springs are on it will look good....obviously right now it looks like a monster truck on the non-sport oem suspension lol...can't wait to see the finalized product! oh ya get some dressing on those tires! lol

i absolutely love the 275's on the back. gives the car a very masculine muscle sort of look on the back. much more aggressive looking.

edit: looking through the few pictures I have, none of them really capture the aggressiveness of the back end with the 275s... i'll try and take a couple more showing that.

hmm it kind looks weird to me...but i dunno maybe you are right...i think after you drop it it will look better to me. cuz when you have 19s or bigger rims on stock suspension it looks weird, so its hard for my eye's to see the aggressiveness of the 275's on the back. you are probably right.
