The whole idea is that the SS braid helps to minimize the brake line expansion under pressure.
So, if the line expands less, the pressure of the master cylinder is applied more efficiently to the brake caliper.
This is even more important as things heat up.

That said....
- For street daily driving you will notice very little.
- If you are aggressive, spend time on the twisties etc; you will definitely notice the difference.
- if you track, ....no brainer.

BTW....
I had them on my 1st gen G35 & my Z4 M. (which I have tracked)
- I don't see myself installing SS lines on this car until lines need to be replaced.

ALSO
If you get SS lines, don't go cheap!!!
Get coated lines with boot shrouds at the connectors.
Unprotected lines are prone to breaking down due to dirt getting into the braid (friction)
When SS lines break down, they usually rupture whereas rubber lines just leak.

I'd recommend them for almost any car if you are a hard driver like me. I put them on my '04 when I did an OEM Brembo upgrade. Then again I also did a few things to the brakes all at once. I currently looking for a set for my DD RAV4, can't seem to find any. I'll report back when I do.

spray some undercoat on your lines and you should be good to go for the life of the car.
i only see changing them if you track the car often or drive the streets regularly like a retard
use the $$ for something else
