Question: Since my ride is already on the sport package springs (stiffer than the journey anyways), does everyone think that my move to the eibachs will be less noticeable? Anyone moved over from the sport model to eibachs? I like the firmness, reaction to bumps, etc, but don't want it to get crazy-stiff or anything.

Dare I ask?

Journeys and sports have the same stock springs. The shock damping for sports are firmer. Given that Eibach springs feel like their initial spring rate is a bit softer than stock and it firms up to stiffer than stock as the spring compresses, the ride quality on a sport will not be adversely affected. It should feel a bit softer over smaller initial bumps. If anything, the firmer damping of the sport shocks will help take away the bit of floatiness over larger bumps while also preventing the car from bottoming out on the bumpstops. By no means would the ride ever get "crazy-stiff".

+1

I had my Eibach springs installed this past Saturday and I dont feel as much small bumps on the road as I did earlier. I have a 2008 G35xS.

I realize this thread is old, but my ICC is quite freaked out, and I can only blame my car being lowered... Is there some adjustments available to me?? I apologize for the thread hi-jack, I'm going to start a separate one. Better yet, let's use this existing one if you have any info on lowering vs. ICC / Intelligent Cruise Control.

What do you mean by "freaked out"?
I'm on Eibachs and seen no change in ICC function.

What's happening with yours?

In short, I can barely use it. If I'm lucky, I can turn it on and it will work for a while - but not properly... It doesn't see the car in front of me the way it used to (like the range is off). Mostly, however, it beeps and turns on the CRUISE light on the dash, and won't function. Once it's done this, I can't even use the standard cruise control until I turn the car off.

My suspicion is that if I can simply adjust the physical mounting angle a bit upward, it should be ok, but I'm really not sure.

I want to lower my car on coil-overs very soon and your problem worries me.. Maybe try taking it to the dealer to have it checked out, maybe it not caused by the lowering? Most Infiniti dealers around me are lowered car friendly, and wouldn't mind inspecting problems even if your lowered.
