Hotchkis Sway Bars

Hey guys, looks like the last thread got deleted ... I will go back and see if I can find the specs again. So no selling on this thread, if you are interested on when the second run gets released you can PM... but paypal info so this doesn't get deleted. Unfortuneatley there was a lot of great info that got deleted in the last thread.

Please PM me if you have any questions about why the last thread got deleted... I will try to get all the spec up again soon! Sorry to all those that posted pics and reviews.

Thanks,

Travis

Me? If i have time I'll ask tomorrow, if not I'll try this weekend, I'm picking up car either today or Sat and I need to ask about them installing HFCs, so I'll go to the parts department and ask them about it, then we can try cross checking with like Rick or someone.

Too bad...the deleted thread had lots of good info e.g. reviews, stiffness settings, etc.

Anyway, I sent payment to Andy yesterday. He said the last of the first set of bars will be coming in early next week and that he'll ship it out then.

From what I remember, ppl said that the stiffest setting was too much and made the rear end squirrely. How about the middle setting? Is that still too much? Anyway, I have a Journey so even the lowest setting will be a great improvement. I just don't wanna bother jacking up the car and "resetting" the bar.

IIRC, people recommended the first setting for stock wheels/tires. Seeing as how you have springs and M rims (hopefully you have better tires than the oems), then you could probably get away with the second setting and "maybe" even the stiffest. I think Kul has his in the middle, and he has the Tein C/O's, so I would say for you to start there.

The M rims, just like the G35S, have RE050's on 'em. They're pretty good tires IMO. I do have set of rims on order. The rear tires will be 285/30/20 Yokohama S-drives. I hope these'll handle the middle setting. After reading those comments from the deleted thread, I doubt I'll go with the stiffest setting.
