07 G35S brake pad replacement

I'm now approaching 30k miles and figured its about time to replace the brake pads.

I'm not quite sure where to find good brake pads online, for some odd reason I'm not having much luck finding vendors that sell them. I'm looking for a good pair of ceramic brake pads. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Go with OEM. I have 37K on my 08 G35S 6MT and still have plenty of pad left. Have you had yours checked? The Sport brakes are beefier than the regular G35.

I bought a set of Bendix Ceramic pads on Amazon for $35-

They'll get me through until I'm ready to upgrade the brake system.
I've never had anything but good results from Bendix in the past, so they'll be fine for now.

A 5AT is going to go through brakes quicker than a 6MT, so he may be closer than you are to needing a replacement.

I went ahead and ordered replacement OEM pads.

I should still have some life left in the pads but I figure I'll go ahead and buy them now. If the pads are good, then I'll just hang on to them until they're ready to be replaced.

How much did the OEM pads run you? Did you order from the dealer?

He says he has a G35S so the brakes will be different than a standard G35. I could not tell from his post if he had a 6MT or 5AT

I bought them from infinitipartsonline.com. All four pads were $110.30 after shipping.

Depends how you drive it, right? If you're using engine braking then yes, except that I do the same thing with the paddles.

Anyway, I replaced my pads at 26k, including a track day - they probably didn't need to be replaced right that second, had at least 3/8ths on all of them.

Is 110.00 Normal for break Pads. Would I be able to find nice aftermarket ones for less?

I just bought StopTech Street Perf rear pads for $52 for my 07 G35S. They will be installed tomorrow. From what I read by searching the forums, these are comparable to stock, if not better. We'll see...

I just bot a set of slotted rotors (F&R) and pads from a place on eBay... having them installed next week. Will provide a review. Both pads and rotors are generic I supposed...price is right and am confident they will work fine. I have an 07 sport..

I had my OE pads swapped out at 20k miles due to noise. I replaced them with Centric Posi Quiets

After about 2wks with the StopTech pads, they seem to do the job as well as stock...cannot say better or worse bc it all feels the same to me.

However, these deposit so much brake dust onto my wheels as opposed to the stock pads. Anyone have the exact name of the stock oem pads?
