Has anyone else got recurring problems with their front rotors/brakes?

That makes two of us....

The way the delay is going there's hardly much point for me this summer.
I'll probably wait & do COs & Akebonos for next spring.
Maybe there be a few options by then.

Ya, for sure. It's not like the g37 coupe only sells a couple of cars every year. They're EVERYWHERE, and they need brake upgrades too. The first reputable company that releases them, for a reasonable price, will sell a ton.

I'm pretty much set on the Akebono upgrade and I'll run the oem 14" rotors till they die. As much as I want a set of Stoptechs, I still can't justify their price. The Brembo GT set, forget about it. Hopefully by that time SOMETHING is released.

I can't stand looking at my puny S rotors behind the 37 rims lol.

Ian, what size are your winter tires?
Do the wheels clear the BKs?

That's what has been keeping me from pulling the brake trigger. Well, that and a lack of disposable cash.

I have a set of 17" winters that'll be going into the classifieds in the fall.

& Nope, they don't.... the OE 18s don't either.
There are lots of 18's that work though.

I thought maybe I could pickup a set of those *ahemm* sweet G37S sedan 18s cheep.
I'm pretty sure the old style coupe 18s will work too.

..anyway, not too worried about that part too much.

The spare also has to be dealt with.

You can probably find a set of 37 sedan 18's for dirt cheap, since no one wants that crap

i can't stand looking at my S rotors behind the 37 wheels either. but i can't justify spending over a grand on a BBK. theyre brakes for Christ's sake, and the Akebono's barely help the car stop shorter, so its really tough for me to justify the price tag. i'd love love loveeeee a set of 2pc rotors for my S brakes, but i don't know if thats ever going to happen.
