these bad boys just came out?

also, these springs look linear. Unlike most other springs.. that are progressive.

EDIT: nvm.. the tein website says they are progressive.

I highly doubt either of them will give you the claimed drop.
Everytime I've seen either spring in other application, such as the G35 coupe, they've been fairly conservative with the S-Tech being a little lower.

Edit: Nevermind that...the description says 1.5" for the S Tech and 1.2" for the H Tech. That's about right but the drop rate posted by Andy@HPAuto is very far off...

If these provide a subtle drop... these might just be a winner for us X guys.

Its like getting IMPUL's.. but for cheap.

Even though these say 2WD, im assuming they'll work with the X's... right?

They should work with the X's no problem.
The H Techs would give a subtle drop to RWD cars, they may drop a bit more on the X cause of the extra weight but it won't bee too much...maybe 0.1" or so.
Do it Wes, get the H Techs and see how it works out. Alot of people are happy with them on the older gen cars so I don't see why not.
Plus you'll get the lowering thing over with finally, and for a good price at that.

That'll be hot! hehe

What I dont get is... are the Htechs gonna drop me 1.5 F and 1.3 R or 1.2 all around?

If these will give me slightly less of a drop compared to Eibachs.. i think we have a winner.

Doesn't sound like the drop is much different than the Eibachs (1.4"/1.3" F/R).

....also, if the pic is correct the H tech look to be more linear than Eibach.

...From TEIN website

I still don't believe the drop rate. Especially on the S Techs...I've never seen them drop more than 1.5" on any other application. What make them drop the 2nd gen sedan close to 2" all around?

Wes, you can't be sure if their claims are true or not so don't risk it. Especially with your X, if they drop RWD cars 1.9 and 1.8 then you'll probably get dropped 2.1 and 2.0". lol
Get the Eibachs dude...

You truly are a patient one...lol
I may lower the car before I get my wheels now since Q8y showed me the Tanabe coils
Won't have the camber problem since I won't drop it as much with my stockers.
Then when my wheels get in...drop the b!tch a little more than the H&R's would which I'm guessing is about 1.6" front and 1.4" rear so 1.8" and 1.6" should look good.
Anyone know the exact drop rate of the H&R springs on the 2nd gen sedan?

Hmmmm, I might look into the H Techs then, I know of a place I can get them done in StL. The only problem I have is, what if the rear sags again? i don't want the rear to sag or look like it's sagging.

These look like they dont wont sag... at least from the specs. Unlike the Tanabe's, you know from the get go that its gonna sag.
