I saw InTgr8rs the other day and honestly he has a bit of rubbing but it is nothing to worry about unless you are only concerned with looks over performance.

Which GT Spec strut bar are you talking about? Mine does not leave any room for the engine conver, but it does fit a spacer.

i have tried several positions and im getting very minor rubbing with the hood liner. Right now the liner has some minor scuffs and the strut bar gets light scuffs that can be rubbed out. Im not too concerned at all. Cant say I notice much of a difference in handling but it looks nice.

I can't say what piece does the most because I installed all the front pieces at the same time.
That definitely mad a difference, much more solid feeling.
Because of that I have the rear pieces on the way.

Most front strut bars don't do jack for handling... they do tighten up response just a little bit, but most people won't notice the difference, if your car even has enough mods to feel it.

Hmm I wonder if it would? Doesn't it have a groove already in place for the strut as well or am I thinking of the 370z?

I just put my strut bar in not too long ago and used the credit card method. I guess I am one of the lucky ones with no rubbing on the cover or on the hood liner.

when i went to the sedan meet...i met this gentleman who had the g37x sedan...and told me that he was rubbing like crazy but i think it's due to the oem cover with the cushioning. I have the Status Elite cover so i got more clearance to move around the strut bar. Hope this helps you guys out
