Does your GTSPEC strut bar rub?
Ill be installing mine tomorrow afternoon.
im curious to see pics of the rubbing damage after time, both on the car and liner/engine cover. I am pretty sure I can deal with the rubbing on the liner only if the wear/tear is confined to the liner. I dont want any finish damage on my newly powdercoated bar.

There's also a DIY on lowering the engine cover a tad.

i have tried several positions and im getting very minor rubbing with the hood liner. Right now the liner has some minor scuffs and the strut bar gets light scuffs that can be rubbed out. Im not too concerned at all. Cant say I notice much of a difference in handling but it looks nice.

That definitely mad a difference, much more solid feeling.
Because of that I have the rear pieces on the way.
Most front strut bars don't do jack for handling... they do tighten up response just a little bit, but most people won't notice the difference, if your car even has enough mods to feel it.
I just put my strut bar in not too long ago and used the credit card method. I guess I am one of the lucky ones with no rubbing on the cover or on the hood liner.
when i went to the sedan meet...i met this gentleman who had the g37x sedan...and told me that he was rubbing like crazy but i think it's due to the oem cover with the cushioning. I have the Status Elite cover so i got more clearance to move around the strut bar. Hope this helps you guys out
