Guys,

If I accelerate quickly (not floor it, just get up to speed rapidly), my "slip", "VDC off" and "BRAKE" signals light up on the console. Once I turn the car off, the next time I start it up everything is back to normal.

Am I the only one?

Check your abs sensors at each wheel for problems. I think you may well have tossed a code as well so you may want to check that.

check and if low(most probably) fill-up with approved dot-3 or 4 brake fluid that should fix the problem.

I don't know what "tossed a code"means, I'm afraid. Also how do I check my ABS sensors? Thanks.

You car has a computer in it that will store codes that identify what ails it.

On the bottom of your dash right under your steering column is a connector to plug in a code reader. This port can also be used for lots of other use such as gauges (google 0BD gauges).

I would also do what others have stated and that is to check your brake fluid to see if it is low. All of this is tied together.

As far as checking the sensors physically you can look at them for anything obvious.
