Tire Maintenance light plus more

My Tire Maintenance light came on, what does that mean? My tire's pressure is right.. everything looks good.. good tread.. But im not sure what that means. Also, My crusie control will not work.. this just started today. It will come on but it wont set. What should I do? I am due for my first 15,000 mile maintenance. I called up the local dealership for a quote and they told me it would be like $450.00 Does that sound correct??

Tire maintenance as in you've reached the set distance that's in the computer? You can just reset it by going through the menus.

Do you have the ICC? If so are you using your wipers?

Is your snow mode switch on?

No switch between your seat heaters?

The ICC is 'Intellegent Cruise Control'. It will be disabled if the snow mode is on or your wipers are in use?

Nothing really, they probably forgot to reset it when you got your oil change. Just scroll through your menus to maintenance and go to tire etc. and just reset it. All it does is come on every time you reach 3k miles(for mine at least) just to remind you to check over your tires.

As far as your 15 k maintenance it is cheaper at Nissan for the same thing. Nissan gave me the figure of about $250 for everything on the Infiniti list. You do not have to take it to Infiniti. Also you can do parts of the recommended maintenance and still stay under warranty. For example you don't necessarily have to change your cabin filter, this saves something like 70 bucks I think from what I have seen on an itemize list. If you decide to change it you can either do it yourself or have it done for less. Change the oil, put in new air filters and have it looked at. Should be able to do everything that absolutely needs to be done for about $100. Most of the items are inspection type of things to do that will not find anything wrong.

Make sure you do keep documentation on everything that is done.

Did you reset both the display in the gauge cluster as well as the display in the radio/nav heads up area?

Tire Replacement Indicator (Maintenance Tire Light)

I have my Maintenance Tire light on. I go into the settings menu and when I press the dot button to get into the menu settings, I get a message saying "settings not available, see above". I just bought this car - 2008 G35 - and need help top reset this light. From the owners manual I see that this light comes on when it is time to replace the tires and that this distance can be reset by going into the settings menu. This is what I am trying to do, but no joy. Any help will be much appreciated.

This is all covered in the owner manual. You can get a copy of the owner manual online for free if you do not have one.
