Can I use this to lubricate my ARBs?
Ok guys, when I was in the UK a few weeks back I tried finding some silicone based grease to re-grease my ARBs. Well the only thing I could find were the two items below:
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165750
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...5f84b60a884d9c
Ok now the first link is a Silicone spray lubricant, but I'm not sure if it'll be thick enough like grease to withstand months of ARB movement.
The second link is for Loctite 5910 Silicone Gasket sealant/grease. Now I didn't realize it was a Gasket sealant until I traveled back, and it's a Grey colored grease.
So two questions really:
1- What would you use?
2- Can I use the Loctite 5910 Silicone Gasket Sealant grease as a ARB lubricant?

Maz
neither of those will work. The first one is the type you'd spray on a bicycle chain to lube it. The second is a liquid gasket maker, for sealing valve covers to the engine block
if you're really stuck and can't find anything, pm me
