Sway Bar Help

I have had my sway bar set to the lowest setting from the day i installed them till now...... I was wondering if it would be a good idea/safe to go to the middle setting with the set-up i have.

Set-Up:
Tanabe NF-210
370Z Forged Rims 19x9 (245),19x10 (275)

Thanks

Middle easily. You can even try the stiffest and see what happens, but the Tanabe setup may be a bit on the soft side for #3.

I agree. I have had my sways on the middle setting for the whole time I've had them on the car, about 8 thousand miles. I have 19 x 8.5s up front with 245s and 19 x10.5s in the rear with 275s. Works great.

I had them put on by someone else. I would think you would need a wrench.

Depends how particular you want to be...probably best to torque all fasteners properly, but I just did mine 'TAF'.

are you happy with the IMPUL springs and ride quality? After the new year, i plan on purchasing a set and a rear sway bar.

Just curious...
My wife's uncle and I got into a conversation about my sway bar and the fact that if it's hollow, it's crap.
I guess he knows someone with a POS Buick who's rear sway bar snapped like a twig.
He blamed it on being hollow.

He has a '65 GTO that runs low 13's.
We do a lot of "car talk" when we bump into each other at family get-togethers.
I'm dying to put my car next to his on the track someday.

Almost all modern bars are tubing. (weight saving)
IMO, quality depends more material used & manufacturing than hollow or solid.

I had a set of 350Evo bars on my first gen, which were solid bars.
I haven't heard of anyone else doing solids.
BTW, the 350Evos were heavy as fawk.

^+1 It's all in the engineering and manufacturing with quality of materials. Plenty of hollow set ups that are more than strong enough for a street car set up.
