using sport suspension on X

I know this had been brought up before and I tried searching with no luck. Would there be any advantage(both handling and looks) to using the Sedan S springs on my X? Anyone done it? I am tempted to switch to the sport springs and sport rear sway in hopes to improve the handling and looks ever so slightly.

^^^ Def go with Eibachs....your G will look sick and the cornering will be much flatter as well as your car being more aerodynamic and of coarse super sexy!

i doubt you would even notice much difference just changing the springs from the x to sport springs....also i believe the Sport has better shocks so if you change to sport springs without the sport shocks...well you see what i am getting at

You need to find out the difference in spring rates to see if it's even worth it.

i'll tell you how my IMPUL experience turns out this week. I have an appointment for an install+alignment this Thursday.
I've had 2 cars in the past that i've slapped springs on and had the immediate bounce effect, so i will be very biased with the IMPUL test drive.
I drive about 400 miles a week.
Stay tuned....

That's a consideration for all springs used on the X.
IIRC none of them are actually designed for the X.

Has Impul pricing changed at all????
Just wondering with all the other competitive options out there (including COs),
if they have lowered their prices.

They would sell a lot of springs if their pricing was more competitive.

IMPULs are still around $450+ without shipping costs.

i am still considering trying some sport springs and rear sport sway and see what happens.

For all it would cost, it might be worth a try.
There must be someone in your area that has some lying around.

the only problem with them would be the uneven ride height

there's no guarantee that the even stance of the RWD will translate to an even stance on the heavier AWD.

Ah yes, I see what you mean.
That would hold true for any of the aftermarket springs though.

Several have installed the Eibachs and haven't reported a difference in stance from RWD.
It would vary of course depending on the spring rates of each mfg.

I had H & R RWD Sedan springs on my 2004 G35X, even stance and performed well. Not too low, and w/ 19" SSRs, it looked great. I would use H & Rs again when I get the 2010 G37Xs.
