19" vs 20" rims

So I have a dilemma on my hands right now and needs some input.

I am going to be upgrading my rims to either 19s or 20s (non staggered setup).
The main issue I have is that I don't feel like dropping my car, so would it look better with the 19s or 20s? Can people give me their opinion on which size to choose?

it will look like a 4x4 with 20"s and no drop but with 19"s it will look high as well, you should drop it slightly no matter which you get

Thas what I was afraid of, so the next question is to go with just springs or go with CO. Going with spring is obviously cheaper but for the long run is CO the better option?

since you don't want a huge drop springs is probably the best option for you and more affordable

You can always go with Tanabe NF210s like I did and the drop imo is perfect. Not too much and closes the hideous gap.

Is there any reason why you choose to go with the Tanabe's over the H&R's or Eibachs?

I chose to go Tanabe for a conservative drop. 1.0F/1.3R

The drive is like stock, still comfortable but closes the gap.

definitely drop it. I like my h&r's with the wheel set up I have. Everything is perfect, wheels are pretty flush with the body and the ride height and handling is great. 20's are a little big IMO.

Thanks for all the responses, probably going with the 19s and droping it with the Tanabe NF210 springs.

I don't want to hijack your thread man, but are the Tanabe's less of a drop than the Eibach's??? For some reason, I thought that the Eibach's had the least drop of any spring set for the G.

I thought that the Eibachs was about a 1.4" drop whereas the Tanabes are only about a 1.0". Don't quote me on those exact numbers but thas what my understanding was.

which model eibachs and tanabes are you talking about?

eibach offers: prok kit and sportline

tanabe offers: df210, nf210 and gf210

they are all different heights and different spring rates

the g35 tanabe nf210s do not drop it much IMO, however, the 350z nf210 on a g will drop it as much as the G35's df210.

Yeah, the tanabe nf210 is 1.0F 1.3R, Eibach pro kit is 1.4F 1.3R.

Check out this thread, this is what helped me to decide on the tanabe's
