Coilovers Part 2

I was wondering what coilovers to go with? I looked at all the specs, but I heard the Flex are a harsher ride and the Comfort Sport are better for the street. Thanks for the input.

Hard to say, what are you going to use it for? Track? Street? Show?

I'm going to use them on the street and am going for comfort with handling.

Are you limiting your choice to these models because you want to run an edfc? I think the CS's are just too soft, even for the street. I believe they are only 7kgf front/rear. If you're set on staying with Tein, then at least go with the Basics as they are 9kgf front/rear (but non dampening adjustable). IMO 9/10 kgf is the perfect compromise (handling and comfort) for the street. If you don't want anything harsher than that and want to retain dampening ability, you may want to look outside the Tein brand.

I'm a newbie when it comes to coilovers and would take all suggestions. I wanted JIC, but they quit selling them in the US. I'm now looking at KWs.

As far as I know the Tein Comfort Sport are not available for the 07+ G. Try the Tein SS-P's. They are slightly firmer than the CS's, but well below the Flex.

The only Tein's that are available for the 07+ are the:
Mono Flex (14kg/14kg)
Flex (14kg/12kg)
SS-P (9kg/8kg) <-- good compromise for the street, and they are less expensive than the above

I find that hard to believe.

...is it possible that the person you were dealing with, dropped the JIC product line &
was just trying to push you to something else?
