How wide can you go on the front wheels? - 07 G35s Sedan
Im kind of new to understanding wheels and offsets etc. I'm looking to get a set of 19s. How wide can you go with the front wheels and still turn fully without the tires rubbing?
Keep in mind I live in Michigan so going extremely wide in the rear doesn't make sense with all the snow so I was thinking of getting matching widths on all fours. Seems like most 19s are anywhere from 8-9" wide.
What kind of offsets can you go with without running into issues?
Thanks

I think the safest would be 9-9.5 for the fronts. If you have a 2nd Gen sedan the perfect offset for the front would be +25. you can go upto 10 inches in the rear with offsets over +35 (remember that if you go lower than +35 you will stick out and if you go over +40 the rims might be too in). What type of wheel and sizes are you thinking of then i can let you know that you are safe. Is your car lowered at all; if it is then you will have to pla around with some negative camber to make the rears flush with the fender
my goal is to run 11 inch wheels in the rear but im still trying to decide what offset would be perfect

My car is not lowered. Running on the stock Sport suspension
I would go non-staggered for tire longevity (save $)
19x8
Available Offsets: 37, 42, or 50
or
19x9
Available Offsets: 20, 37, or 42
Which size would be better? Which offsets would be best?
Keep in mind I live in Michigan with lots of snow. I still have my stock 18's which I may consider for winter rims/tires or I may use these all year round.
What should I do?
Thanks

ok what i would do with the rims that you picked is do 19x9 all around with +37 offset. Personally it would be what i would do. as for tire size i think that 245/40/19 all around would also be good(not sure though because of stock height, dont want the car to look like a 4x4). The best thing to do with the 18's would be to buy snow tires and only use them in the winter. nice choice of rims BTW i really like how they look. If you want anymore info or advice on offsets and widths contact me through PM.
