Wheel Fitment Questions

New guy here so take it easy on me...I tried running a search but had a hard time finding the information I was looking for.

Anyway, I have a 07 G35x and I'm looking to get some 19s. I want to get the same size wheel all around to keep the VDC/AWD in line. I dont want to lower it, or atleast not yet. So far it seems you guys recommend 19x8.5 +37 with 245/40 tires for a nice looking setup. So with that said, how does a wheel in 19X8.5" +46 look in comparison? Any major differences in poke? Lastly can I run a 19x9.5 on all 4? If so what size tire is needed and what is a good offset? Anyone have any pictures of the different set ups I've mentioned? I want an aggressive look, but no spacers and no fender roll. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You should run 19x9 all around with a +37 offset with a 245/40/19 tire without at drop that would look the best. the 19x8.5 +46 will be too inside the fender meaning it wouldnt look good. can you tell me what kind of wheels your looking at so i can give you a better idea about the offset and tires.

Thanks for the response. I was looking at the TSW Nardo, Willow and Snetterton, all in chrome, but they dont come in 19x9, only 19x8 and 19x9.5. I'm also constantly searching for used sets of Volk wheels. I love all the light weight Volk and Rays wheels, especially the Volk Racing VR.G10. I just cant justify spending $4000 on a new set though.

Edit: Forgot to mention the MRR GT1

sedan offsets from what ive heard should range from 30-40. with or without a drop. so a 24 with a 9.5 will be sticking out too much for you.

ps. im currently selling tsw kyalami 19s in chrome if your interested let me know.

do some more research op.. cant just get sizes and say would they fit.

its best for you to know the answer. everyone has different taste and ideals with their cars. So a certain size would agree to them than to others

if your're unsure, then stick to wheels in the 30-40 offsets.

if your're still gonna post up sizes, note down what wheel tire size you plan on using, and if a drop is in your near future.

In the first post I said a drop isn't something I'd like to do and gave the suggested tire size I thought I would be using. I know what I can do regarding the 30 - 40 offsets and tire sizes. Now I'm trying to find my different options for rim width and offsets, hence the multiple questions regarding both subjects. I thought with everyone on here someone has done something similar and had some input. I would ideally want the widest width possible without fitment/rubbing issues. I'm not ruling out a drop, right now it's just not an option. Hope this helps clarify where I'm coming from.

Thanks for the feedback.
