Dropped and Uneven with S techs.

Just installed the stech springs about 3 weeks ago, and the passenger side is still 5cm higher than the drivers. I checked everything if its seating right on the perches, everything is the exact same. Is this a common problem for our cars when we drop it?

That's what happened with my IMPULs and I was told that's the way it is with our cars.

I'm skipping springs and getting coils instead. I've read all springs pretty much leave an uneven drop for some odd reason

Ok I have a theory to an uneven drop. I weigh 275 LBs so my side of the car sits a little lower than the passenger side. Nobody else in my family drives my car and the only person that sits in my car is my girlfriend and she only weighs 110 LBS. My car is lowered on Eibach springs.

I am pretty happy w/ my H&R drop. I know the drop is not dead even on all 4 corners.. but it looks pretty closely even and slightly more aggressive in the fronts which is the way I like it.

I really can't stand the saggy bum look! *barf*

I was thinking of cutting the top rubber mounts, is this a bad idea? I could always get a new one right?

Well I've got JIC coilovers, and depending on where I park the car it sometimes sits uneven. Sometimes it looks like the driver's side is slightly lower and at other times it looks like the passenger side it lower, and at times it seems perfectly level.

I think it's all down to where you park and how level the surface is, well at least for me it's like that anyway.

^ trudat, must be level on all 4 corners to check properly.

BUT... it does seem that the drivers side sits a little lower.
I had the same thing with OE springs & the 370Z springs.

JAWAG.....
IDK if it's done on purpose to account for the crown (slope) of most roads???

I agree with you Ian. My IMPULs were like that and even now with the K Sports it's kind of like that too.
