What would be causing a loud "pop" sound coming from the rear of my car while going over bumps and going through turns? This has been happening before I got my new COs put on. Thanks.
When you say 'pop' is it kind of a knock?
Is it when the weight transfers in a corner?
Do you get it at all driving straight ahead at all?
One possibility is the sway bar end links, but I don't recall anyone else posting about bad links.
The V36 end links are much better that the V35 was.
If it's the end links they should be a warranty item, but they might give you grief because of the COs.

It is a knock sound. It happens during cornering too and also when going straight over the bumps like brick streets. I'll call my local Infiniti about it.
Is your dealer good about aftermarket parts?
Many will give you a hard time about the COs.
Do you do any of your own wrenching?
The end links are pretty easy to remove.
You can undo them & then tie the sway bar ends up so that they don't swing down to the ground.
Then go for a *VERY CAUTIOUS* test drive to see if the sound goes away.

They treat it like it's a stock car. Just got of the phone with my service guy and said that he might be able to cover it under warranty. Originally Posted by InTgr8r
