damnit i purposely ordered those wheel because i didnt really like the look everyone was going with lately with the crazy offsets. i wanted the wheels to be flush...stick out a little more than stock but not too much. theyre 18x8 with a 40mm offset.....do you all think spacers will be needed? I really want this car to have the sleeper look...hopefully ill be the first on this site with a n V36 X that has a nice blower in it next summer...unless someone already has beaten me to it

^ if that's the look you're going for, then they will be fine.
The fronts, will move out 11mm closer to the fender.
Definitely not flush but still better than OE.

I think a set of 10mm spacers will have the stance that your looking for.

alright i think ill do that once i get a little bit more cash.....when i used to ride quads i heard spacers put alot of stress down where they mount. is this true with cars? or they wont hurt that much?

it puts the same stress as what your doing now by getting lower offsets.

bc's, I've read drop the G very low and thats at the higest point.


Tomorrow Im putting on some Tanabe Coilovers. My prefrence.

nice nice....yeah only problem is though I have the X. and so far only coil overs ive read about for the X are the BCs. I did put the wheels and tires on last night though..I think they look pretty dece. Ill make sure to put up pictures on monday or so after its all cleaned up.

But lights out throw up some pictures of the Tanabes after theyre installed.

Forgot to mention, I almost bought some Enkie' racing line wheels till i saw these OZ's they are a 48 offset, i think.....

those were the ones i originally wanted but it was just way too much for me to throw down on wheels when im trying to get a supercharger or turbo asap and being 19 dont have alot of cash flo hah....those wheels do weigh around 20lbs though right? my friend has them on his car.

total tire and wheel weight is 47.5 lbs each.... almost exactly the same as the stock 17's .....
