Brake Judder

Just wondering if anyone in Socal got this done under warranty. If you did, could please post up the DEALERSHIP you went to and how was the experience. I'm having the same problem so I just want to know which dealership I should go to for less stress LOL. Thanks in advance

This doesn't answer your question but is an fyi. Obviously free is better but I bought my 07 used and it had this "judder" going on. I took it to les schwabb, 30 mins and 40 bucks later they filed rotors smooth, had me fixed and rollin.

If the cause of the barke Judder is as described in the TSB then it doesn't matter what dealership you go to. They have to address the problem for you per the TSB.

PM me if you want a PDF of the TSB

Good Luck

The problem with this is if the problem comes back you likely can't get Infiniti to fix it for you under TSB/warranty...if you have warranty left.

This is what Infiniti will do as per the TSB:
1. Identify the brake system by NMC Model Code or visual inspection.
2. Remove the front brake caliper and rotor.
3. Install the new front brake backing plate (splash guard assembly).
4. Inspect the front brake rotor to determine if resurfacing is possible or if replacement is necessary.
5. Reinstall the front brake caliper.
6. Inspect the brake pads and install the new brake pad kit and new hardware kit if replacement is necessary.
7. Perform procedure on the other side of the vehicle.

I am still under warranty till December but didn't think this type of thing would be covered. Maybe I will take it in if the judder returns while still under warranty. I live in UT and we have one Infiniti dealer and my first and only experience is they are very rude, I actually hope nothing steers me their way again.
