Tighten E-Brake

Never tightened an E-brake before. Can anyone tell me a step by step process on how to tighten our e-brake? (6mt)

Dealer wanted to charge $75 for it but I heard it's easy to do.

Thanks

well there are two ways really. you can do it via the spreader in the brake itself or if you remove the center console there is a nut on the brake handle to turn to tighten the cable. you should download the shop manual, there are some more details in there you might find useful.

actually if you google it ill bet you'll find a DIY for it somewhere as well.

enjoy!
