20" vs 19" G35S RWD

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying some staggered rims for my G. I have a few questions.

I read somewhere that if I put on 20's and not lower the car, they would look too big for it. Do you guys agree? If yes what would be a suitable conservative drop that would do the job. I wouldn't want to roll the fenders. I would like to go with this look https://g35driver.com/forums/media-s...-inch-lip.html he has a minor drop of a quarter (I think)

So if I were to go with 19's would they be better? Would I still need to lower the car? What is the most I can lower without rolling fenders?

Thanks

I think even 19's look funny at stock ride height. You can always get the wheels and then drop later if you don't like it. I for sure would not do 20's with a stock setup!

Ok that sounds good. What would be the least amount of drop that would look good on 20's. (I know everybody's opinion is different but just to get an idea) What springs would you recommend?

if you check out: https://g35driver.com/forums/media-s...-inch-lip.html

he had impul springs (minor drop .75 .25) and it looks pretty good -- i think that would be your best bet Definitely don't get 20s without a drop because youll look like your driving in a 4x4. I'm dropped on eibachs and i just ordered some Forgestar 20s so once I get them I'll be more than happy to take pictures. It really depends if you want a really aggressive stance or not. The eibach drop is 1.4 1.3 and its perfect for me.

I would like to go with an aggressive look.
Do you have any pics of your car right now? Just so I can get an idea of the drop

Sorry I don't have any updated pictures of my ride now but you can find a lot in the suspension doc in the mediashare section of the forum. Here's one with 20s and with eibach drop: https://g35driver.com/forums/2907269-post592.html

I think I'm feeling the 1.4/1.3 drop but those 20's look sick in the first pic. What kind of body kit do you have on?
