I dropped mine last fall... winter was not as bad as I expected it to be.
Just watch out for the deep stuff and you'll be fine.

Anything deeper than 4" and you're a snow plow...

Nice Aeson! This is definitely on my radar! What about the stock strut? will the springs wear down the stock strut?

these look perfect for what I want. subtle drop, enough to clear some wheel gap, but not slam it. What kinda shortening of the factory struts life-span would you expect?
edit: didn't read the whole post. ditto what the last guy said.

Anybody have good pictures of the new kit on yet? I'm curious to see if it will sit level or lower in the back like the RWD version

Yes, you can expect premature wear.
With that being said, many people have more than 50K on these springs and have not yet needed struts.
If/when it happens, replacement will be decided by the size of my wallet at the time of failure.
If I have the coin, I'll switch to coils.

Sweet, I'm hoping it eliminates the front wheel gap. If not I may have to bite the bullet and go H&R

It's not going to lower the front... it's just raising the rear to even out that gap.
With the [apparent] lower rear, the car is actually level.
It looks like a droopy rear because of the way the fenders are cut. Finding a balance between level and evening the gap is what everyone is looking for.

I feel ya. I'm just looking for the wheel gap to be the same front to rear.

Agh the weather went to hell before I picked it up so no pics yet, but no ***-sag and the drop I'd perfect imo.
