if it wasnt for it being almost october, I probably would have purchased these.
Thanks! Just ordered (rebate ends today), but likely wont install until next spring.

I haven't had it aligned since a week after the install and I'm not 100% sure that the tech did what I asked (this is the place that kept asking me if it was a lift kit I'd installed) because the l/r camber numbers aren't even close. I've got a trip to NJ coming up so I'll get another alignment before that (at a different shop). No spacers but it could use it, with the added neg. camber the wheels are more tucked than I'd like.

Camber
FL -2.2
FR -1.4
RL -2.4
RR -1.3

Toe
FL .02
FR .05
RL .11
RR .13

I ordered a set of the new springs for the X from Stillen last week and I installed them today. Next week I'm getting it aligned, so maybe the wheels won't be quite as tucked with the camber adjusted.

Great pics! How long after the installation were the pics taken? (Wondering if they'll go any lower as they settle over time...)

bigjohnintexas, did you put X springs on an RWD S or an S AWD? It looks like your rear badge says "S". Either way great pics, looks great

Thanks for the compliments guys.

The springs were put on yesterday and the pictures were taken yesterday as well.

To clarify, my car is a 2008 G35XS (awd), and the springs are the Eibach Pro-Kit springs for the AWD cars.

I've put about 150 miles on the springs since yesterday (gotta love days off), and I love the ride. It has much less body roll and yet is very compliant. I can't wait to put a anti-sway bar on before our trip to the Ozarks next month.

Google: Eibach 6399.140

I purchased them here:

http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...&model=G35 4DR

Today I saw them on TireRack a little cheaper, but I've always been happy with the customer service at Stillen and they have free shipping.

Something looks off. Your stock height looks way lower than the stock height of my Xs, specifically the front. The wheel gap does not seem nearly as big as mine. Even in your dropped photos, your car looks lower than the others I have seen that have installed the "x" kit. It looks great though!

I'm not sure....

Could it be that my car has 18" wheels? (most X's I see have factory 17's)

Here are the measurements I took from my garage floor to fender above centerline of wheel:

Front stock height: 28.5"
Lowered height: 27.125"

Rear stock height: 28.25"
Lowered height: 26.75"

The lowered measurements were taken this morning and I believe that the rear has settled a little bit since Monday.

I have the stock 18" as wheels. You gap definitely looks better stock than mine. I'll check my dimensions against your this evening.
