What's up with the different mfg offsets
Maybe it's just me, but it seems that if you ordered the same spec wheel from 5 different manufacturer's, they'll all fit a little different. Maybe alot has to do with the pictures on-line, I don't know. I swear that a 20" rim with +35 offset will have such good fitment on some of our sedans, but then you change brand and the fitment changes even though the specs are the same.
Am I crazy or is this typical?

Well, I guess you're right. It wouldn't make much sense to establish offsets if they varied by rim to rim. I guess it's just the pictures I'm looking at that makes them look different. Thanks for the Wiki link....pretty cool.
