+15 too aggressive?

Guys, is a +15 (9" wide) rear too aggressive for the sedan? I am dropped and do not want to add any more camber if possible.

Thanks.

Throw 225 or 235 on there. You should be alright. As long as you have some camber. I'm just guessing but from what I've seen thus far I think it would be ok. There is somebody on the forum with 19x9.5 +15's on his car with 245's. He has BBS replicas but he said he doesn't have any rubbing issues

I'm running a 10 +30 with a 255 on the rear which would be ~2mm less aggressive than your 9 +15. My camber setting in the rear is -1.5 and lowered on Tein H-tech from the first gen sedan with absolutely zero rubbing so you should be ok.

Hope this helps.

im running 20x10 40mm offset with a 15mm spacer.... no rubbing.... figuring a +30 - +35 mm offset will be okay. i have a 245/30/20 stretched tire on btw

Thanks for the input guys.

I guess tires have a lot to do with it, too, huh? Playing with this, based on my current setup, it seems the +15 would stick out 0.6" more for me, but just bumping up the tire one size up in width noticeably adds to it. 0.6" seems like quite a bit, my rears are fairly close to being flush as it stands with just an 8.5" +35 wheel.

I can't see photos here at work, but i'll check y'all's profiles later to see how your cars look.

Thanks again!

Yup that guy is me. With +15 offsets the rim will poke out slightly from the front fenders but the tire size is what makes the difference. If you're slightly dropped (lowering springs) then you have nothing to worry about.

If you're planning on dropping it about 3" like me then just go w/ the stretched tire route. Utilizing the stretch tire set up the sidewall will come inward for fender clearance. I hope I was any assistance. I am no professional at this and everything is based on experience. Good luck.

Here are my specs:

BBS Reps

FRONT: 19x8.5 et 15 TIRES: Fuzion ZRi's 235/35/19

REAR: 19x10 et 20 TIRES: Fuzion ZRi's 245/35/19

btw wheels/tires are for sale...Local pick up only. (Houston,TX) WILL TRADE for g37s coupes wheels/tires plus some cash from buyer.

Thanks for chiming in! Only the rears will be +15, and i am dropped slightly with coilovers (enough that i don't have to worry about too much camber wear).

Would you say that a 10" +20 would roughly be the same as 9" +15 as far as sticking out, tires not taken into account?

Thank you.

Im no offset guru BUT from my setup the +20 et pokes out about 1/2 inch more than the +15.

my specs

8.5+ 15
9.5 +15

235
245

fronts can still add another 5-10mm spacer
rears I can add another 5mm spacer or even 10. but that would be pushing it.

believe thats me. I was even thinking of upping the rear to a 255/35 to match the front baby stretch.
