Replacing brakes

My cars at 30k miles, and the brakes are getting squeaky and i'm ready to change them. I read a few threads about it, but it was confusing on what exactly I need to order. Can someone help me out? I don't believe I need new rotors but I've never done anything to them since owning the car.

I own the 07 G35 sedan sport. I have the 19" g37 rims (not that matters)

Is there any special tools I need to change these things out?

take rim off get a proper size hex key(cant remember size) to take out caliper bolt(bottom) so u can swing it open, take out front spring(easily visible on the surface between the two pads), pull out worn pads, check rotors for wear and scoring, clean everything with brakleen, apply brake lube behind the new pads, install pads properly into clips. and bolt back everything

Very easy and even simpler than many cars thanks to the hex.

So seems no special tools correct?

Is there a place to buy the OEM pads online?

I would not get OEM pads. Many on here have had good success with Ceramic pads. If you don't have judder, I think it's only a matter of time until you will if you stick with OE. No special tools. I would recommend you clean and re-lube the caliper pins with synthetic brake lube.

I use hawk pads.

Dont know about the 07's but you have a sport make sure you have brembos. You dont want to have to send the pads back.

You can also add a set of stainless steel brake lines for some added help stopping.

What size hex key? A lot of my hex's break under any hard use, so I'll have to go buy the right sized one in a socket.

i was thinking Axis or Hawk Ceramics...any input on those?

Any regular hex key of the right size will do, the bolt is not that hard to take off at all.

Is it just a bolt or does it require a key? I have broken a few of my keys, so I'd like to make sure I get the right one or the right set.

it requires a regular allen/hex key, cant remember the correct size or cuts but i was able to find the right key in one of those generic allen key sets, bolt looks something like the big one in the middle, im pretty sure it was like that and was not a torx bolt, but i would have to check to make sure.
