Does Infinit have a recommended PSI regardless of tire?
My crappy Sumithomo tires have a max PSI of 51 and i have them at 41.
They were at 33 when i got the car but was having major tire noise and issues. I inflated them to 41 and have noticed some of that has gone away but its still there. I notice a smoother ride on the highway but bumpier on normal streets and back roads.

It's on the sticker by your driver side door jamb.
As for higher pressures and bouncy, think about it, it's rubber with lots of air in it.
You want it to have some slack so it can better absorb road imperfections, but not so much that it's dragging itself onto the road surface.
