a few suspension questions
a few suspension questions
I thought that by this point I would have already had aftermarket rims on my car but since I have the mod bug really bad I always buy new stuff and was never able to put aside enough money to buy the rims I wanted. Anyway, Its almost summer, then Im going to college. I dont think It would be a good idea to start thinking about buying rims now considering my car will be sitting at home and I will have to put my stocks back on after the summer in preparation for that anyway. So To complete the look of my car for the summer I want to powder coat my rims matte black, drop my car, and add spacers. I have an X so what do you think would be a nice even moderate drop? What else will I have to get along with springs? I know there are no strut and shock options which sucks but will I need camber arms? tow bolts? etc.. also What size spacers? Im not stretching my tires and im not going hella flush.. sorta flush at most. thanks allot guys.
Go with Eibach prokit for a nice subtle drop. Camber kit is never required but if you wanna maximize your tire life, it's always good to invest in them. Tokico HP shocks have been released for the g37 coupes. Some of the sedan guys are picking them up since our suspensions are the same. Not really sure about the spacers b/c I don't know the offsets on the stock wheels, but my guess is that you will need 20mm spacers to flush them out.
ive bought tons of springs for my car. going lower each time. and now i have coils. i wish i would have just saved my money and got coils in the first place. you should look into doing the same
