allignment and brakes
I was driving yesterday and realized that while going strait my wheel is a bit crooked.. and the bezel around it seems off too.. idk what happened lol.. I guess im going to bring it in for an allignment to get that fixed. I also feel a brake judder so new pads and roter re-surface? What pads should I get for the optimal performance and last. (2007 g35x)
If you are under warranty and have the original rotor/pads with brake judder TSB never applied, sign up at infinitihelp.com and download the brake judder TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) ITB09-037b for our cars. Then go to your local dealer with the brake judder TSB printout just in case and have them cut/replace front rotors and replace pads on your front brakes as per TSB. You can have the dealer do an alignment but if I were you I would take the G to a local Firestone and get a lifetime alignment for the same price.

I sometimes use Firestone for those $20 oil change/tire rotation specials and so far they didn't forget to put the oil in or to tighten the filter
so I thought for routine alignments they can't be too bad. Guess I was wrong.

No problem. FYI, they have to add splash guard shields as a part of the TSB, as they seem to protect the rotors from unevenly cooling and causing pad material to transfer which results in judder. My rotors were cut twice due to judder prior to TSB being applied and since then no judder for the past 10K miles even though I stuck with the same dusty/noisy OEM pads.
