New Coilovers

i have Kontrol Pro coilovers now and am wanting a softer ride. Which ones would be good ones to get, I've heard good things about BC and Megan. All the info would be great. Thanks.

Can you give me a review of your BCs?

^ The best coils for the money. I had them and they were really comfortable when you set it to the softest settings.

I'm just worried about all the rattles and creeks I've been hearing about. Do you know if they have fixed that?

I was also interested in getting the BC's, but was concerned with all the past conversation about the noise issues. I had pm'd BC about availability for our sedans but the exchange ended when I wanted clarification about the noise issue. I wouldn't be surprised if they got tired of addressing the subject. I would love to get a set if the so called "problem" was identified and fixed or debunked. Does anyone know for sure what the issue was and the outcome?

I do get a slight bit of creaking, but keep in mind i am at the stiffest settings. A quick review? Here it goes....

Daily Driving
For daily driving you have a great amount of dampening levels 1 to 32. These feel A LOT better then OEM by a long shot. For daily driving i set it to 1 all around and the car feels extremely nimble around town. With the right setting it will feel acceptable in long journeys.

Spirited Driving
Took my car to the mountains a few weeks after install and i can tell you it blew my mind. Car feels VERY planted throughout the corners and body roll is non existent. I had the car set to 1 all around by mistake and did not realize that until the end of the trip. I can dive and exit corners with a lot of confidence knowing the car will be predictable. Car is extremely responsive to any driver input and it feels like it's on tracks for the most part.

They do squeak a bit.

I've had my BC's for over a year now (IIRC, about 22k miles?) and have had no issues of any kind whatsoever. No squeaks, no rattles, nothing. It's daily driven and sees occasional track duty.

I'm wanting to make a decision about new coilovers, but I'm still on the fence about BC coilovers. The pros are there and the con about the rattles and squeaks are what's holding me back. I want a coilover that I can set and forget. What should I do?

I had the rear rattle. Turned out the rear dampers were the old style. They sent me two new ones at no charge and has been quiet ever since. PS the ride is amazing IMO. I like it to be softer as I don't drive aggressively. Have my fronts set at 8 of 32 and my rears at 4 of the 32 and it feels stockish with a little added firmness. I have mine set fairly low as well.
