Eibach Springs
Eibach Springs
What's up everyone?
I'm ready to drop my car. I'm going with the eibachs pro kit, I guess there is some mixed opinions out there. At any event, before I purchased these springs, I'm sitting on 20" TSW Snettertons with 245/35 tires... With stock specs offset, I'm worried that I'm going to rub, and more less I'm worried about the camber settings... Can anyone out there tell me what the settings are for our cars... I have owned GTI's, SE-R, SRT-4, and EVO 8, and all have been dropped using springs, but never did anything about camber kits etc... Any imput will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

what wheel offsets you running? Im running TSW Jaramas and lowered on Tanabe NFs. I have the same tire size but my wheels are 20x8.5 38mm offset and I have no issues with rubbing. As long as its not a low offset or staggered you'll be fine.
I'm running 20" Velocity 840s and lowered on Eibach Sportlines. My wheels are also 20x8.5 with 38mm offset. You will be fine. The Sportlines drop is more than the Pro kit so if you have a lot of speedbumps or potholes where u live, you may want to be a careful if u go with the sportlines.

Once you get springs you're gonna be tucked and could use a 15-20mm spacer for it to be flush. I have rear kit only no fronts and I get aligned within spec for the most part.
So... I guess what I'm reading is that, I need to get the car aligned as closest to factory specs? But I don't know what those specs are?

Im dropped on the pro kit sittin on 20's no issues. nice ride after a few hundered miles. Only issues which im working with infiniti on is i have auto leveling headlights and mine are now pointed at the ground because it thinks the back of the car is heavy.
What else do you want to know? You will NOT RUB 100% guaranteed. Ride is obviously going to be harsher than stock since you will be dropped and riding on 20's.
Here is a post on the alignment specs. Your alignment shop will provide you the details and will probably recommend rear camber arms.

Just got my car lowered with 19" OEM rays...Eibach Sportlines with 20 spacers at the back and 15 front with no rubbing issues.
Had a camber kit at the back ( higly recommended ), I bought the Ichiba brand for $110 a pair, I suggest let the springs settle in first for 2 to 3 weeks depending on your car usage and then get an alignment.
Ask the shop mechanic what is the OEM specs for your car and if he scratches his head...go to a different shop.
They should know and it should be programmed in their computer alignment system...you can even tell them to print the results for you.
