Noise from Blizzaks or wheel bearings???

I had Bizzaks put on my 2007 G35S recently, and wholy crap are they noisy. This is the 3rd winter I've used them and I just don't remember that much noise in past years. From about 10 MPH down to 0 when breaking, it sounds like a prehistoric animal groaning. I thought perhaps it's the front wheel bearings going. Jacked the car up, and the bearings feel completely smooth, with no play. Car has ~60K miles on it. Noise sounds like it's coming completely from the front (and I have the Bizzaks on all four). Worse in turns - left turn = right side noise, right turn = left side noise.

Any one else had bearing noise without the bearings showing any other problems like binding or looseness? I'm tempted to replace one hub just to see if it makes a difference. Thanks!!!

I'm confused. You say you put the winter tires back on and then the noise started. Is that right?

It seems like the test would be to (temporarily) swap back to the summer tires and verify that the noise is, or is not, still present. I wouldn't recommend swapping out a hub/bearing under the circumstances you've described.

Yeah, but I only have one set of rims. I suppose I could try the spare. I actually think it's both, a wheel bearing dying plus the snow tires. Before the snow tires were on I was noticing the noise a little, but seems worse with them on. I bought a hub online. I'll put it on next weekend and see if it helps.

Thanks.
