RE: Springs?

I am postitive that there a few threads out there with this question... and most likely the answer I seek is within them. However, I am limited on my time on here, So I figured I would ask and hope to receive a response.

I want to drop the ride. 08 G35X. Looking for reliable springs, but get a low drop rate, nothing more that 2". Along with recommendation, will I need to be concerned with too much camber that a basic alignment cannot fix without a camber/toe kit.

Suspension is a fairly new topic for me as I recently started researching it.

P.S. Its my birthday present from my fiancee.

yes you will probably need a front/rear camber&toe kit, unless you like frequently buying new tires

I've got eibach and while the camber is visibly negative, I've had no uneven tire wear after more than 20k miles.

^ What I've read about the Swift springs for the X has been very good. Not quite as much drop as Eibach, but their a linear spring. Ride quality has been reported as very good with stock struts. They're marketed as more of a performance spring, vs. Eibach which seems to be more for looks.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm thinking Swift personally.

Very good to know, thanks!

Seems like some say you def. need the camber kit, and others say its not necessary...

Just wanted to update. I installed the Eibach on the car. The difference visually is not Drastic. However, the notice in handlng is night and day. I do not have any experience with other suspension kits, but from what I have experienced so far... I love them. [IMG][/IMG]
