So, I just ordered new front tires from tirerack because my alignment is off and the inside part of my tires have worn down to the belting (the middle and outer part of the tire have a lot of tread left). My understanding is that this is an alignment problem.

Can I trust a chain like NTB to do a proper alignment and fix this issue? Do they need special equipment to fix this type of alignment issue? Thanks for the advice!

I'm not sure where you live, but I managed an NTB store in Ohio for several years and we had one of the best alignment techs in the area.. all of the local tuners sent their cars to us for him to do specifically. I now live out in SoCal and I finally found a really good alignment tech and he's at a Firestone dealer of all places. The key here is the actually alignment tech himself and not the tire shop. I would ask around your local car clubs and find out who specifically they are using and use the same guy ( not just the same shop, but make sure to ask for the same exact alignment tech).
