Spacer Durability

Hello,

After picking up an 08' G35x in December i've been waiting for the snow to melt to finally put some rims on. After doing a fair amount of research on this site, I picked up a a set of M45 sport rims for a great price (he even threw in the correct shank lugs). I plan on running the stock 17's in the winter and the 19's obviously during the summer time. Depending on how the M45 wheels sit after they're installed, I may pick up a set of 15mm spacers. I don't plan on dropping the car due to the needed clearance during the winter time.

That being said, is it ok to keep the spacers all year round? I'm aware that anodized aluminum "should" be corrosion resistant. Just wanted to hear back from actual users that have the "joy" of driving in the snow every year and how their spacers are currently holding up.

Thanks in advance!

If i were you, I'd opt for quality spacers like H&R Trak+ DRM spacers. But any spacer should hold up fine all year round--that's what I do. Also, I would definitely have the rims checked out for being bent. A reputable shop can do this and fix them. Some other cars need very low profile tires with the M45 for proper outer diameter.
