Hey guys,
New owner of a 2008 G35X, had it about 6 weeks now and love it.
Only about 145k kilometres, not miles on it.
Just recently the steering wheel started making a noise when I tilt the wheel up, doesn't make it going down or telescoping in and out.
Any ideas?

Simple solution, unless you find it necessary to move the steering wheel while entering your G...set it where you like and leave it alone! I'm sure you could have Infiniti tear it apart and lube the connection making the noise but it will cost you big $$!

Steering column shrouds typically come apart really easy with 3 screws and should allow access to the moving parts, if the noise is coming from one of the pivot points you can try a little white lithium grease in aerosol form, just make sure to stuff a rag behind where you are spraying to catch overspray and don't use a lot. Since it doesn't make the sound in both directions it's probably not the motor itself.
