Checked suspension and all looks good at 221,000 miles

So, I thought it a good thing to check out the suspension components on my 2007 G Journey sedan and all looks good. Mind you I only checked the driver's side, but there is hardly any movement of any of the bushings. All four corners are solid as far as the shocks are concerned. So, I'm simply impressed these components are in that good of shape at this mileage.
The reason I was checking these out is it seems to be riding a bit rough on our streets here, which, granted, are not in very good shape, but I still expect it to ride smoother than it does. Anyway, the brakes need done and that's pretty much it.

Thanks for sharing! i'm at 195k miles and will be getting under it to see if i am in the same condition. I've replaced the shocks/struts already and it drives so much better.

Try sizing your tires slightly bigger

I did 3%, and that extra little air helps

I just did front and rear shocks and mounts at 234,000 miles. All the steering components are solid and I don't see a lot of movement as well. I am starting to find a lot of my foam and rubber components starting to fail though. The dust boots and bump stops are marginal at best. Given that I'm starting to question all the bushings and gaskets. I just had to replace valve cover gaskets and they were toast. I live in Az and the car sees a lot of dry heat. So I'm starting to get a bit concerned, but still no major issues.
