Has anyone actually opened up the ECU case? Is there a procedure for this?

I bought a project car with a hydrolocked motor. I just wanted to open up the ecu and make sure there was no corrosion there as a result of water damage.

i don't mean to question what you're doing i mean... do what you gotta do.. but if you hydrolocked the car i think the ecu is the least of your worries no ? i mean.... the car has a million electronics and unless the car was completely submerged the ecu shouldn't have been touched .. ?

awesome writeup! But in case someone needs more instructions, it's almost the same as the one for changing the incabin filter so check that one out.

I haven't had the time to research but how many hp can one expect after the hp flash? What other flashes can we do to it?

is this process exactly the same for an 05 G35 sedan? is that technosquare reflash actually better than getting a ecu chipped from z1 motorsport? im curious to know since im thinking of buying a ecu to get it chipped from z1motorsport!
