Nothing a little silicone around the holes before you secure everything down cant fix.

There are seals on the spoiler.

Question...
Why does the leading edge (the edge closest to the rear window) not appear to sit uniformly to the top of the trunk?

I'm not sure if I'm answering your question properly, but....
It's actually a double edge which you can see better from this angle.

Hey Ian... yeah, I see the double edge and actually like that design.
My concern is the bottom edge where it touches the trunk. The very front leading edge.
There appears to be gaps between the spoiler and the trunk lid.
Is it less noticable in person?

Scott, I have seen Ian's spoiler in person and I assure you the fit looks very good (man, I can hardly wait to install mine)

If you have the camera you can order the lip with two holes so your camera installs in the new spoiler. I can't see why a person would not want their rear camera.

Wayne, are you planning on drilling holes in the trunk lid on the end locations or are you going to try and only use double sided tape on the ends?
I'm waiting for someone to mount one, using only holes drilled behind the chrome finish plate location to see if fitment is acceptable.

I don't mind drilling holes behind the finish plate, but there's something about drilling holes on the trunk lid that has me upset. I know it's a permanent install, but I can get past it mentally.

Yes I am definitely drilling the holes for mine.
I can post up pics for you of the bottom side and of the clips used, if you want Scott.

Because he just installed the new lip and it doesn't has the hole for the rear camera. I think he doesn't need his old chrome lip with camera on it any more. That's why I am asking if he wants to sell it to me.

The spoiler doesn't come with a camera, just a hole to mount your existing camera to.
Just an FYI, in case someone doesn't understand that.
