DIY: OE G37 sedan trunk spoiler install
Nothing a little silicone around the holes before you secure everything down cant fix.

There are seals on the spoiler.

It's actually a double edge which you can see better from this angle.

My concern is the bottom edge where it touches the trunk. The very front leading edge.
There appears to be gaps between the spoiler and the trunk lid.
Is it less noticable in person?

Scott, I have seen Ian's spoiler in person and I assure you the fit looks very good (man, I can hardly wait to install mine)
If you have the camera you can order the lip with two holes so your camera installs in the new spoiler. I can't see why a person would not want their rear camera.
I'm waiting for someone to mount one, using only holes drilled behind the chrome finish plate location to see if fitment is acceptable.
I don't mind drilling holes behind the finish plate, but there's something about drilling holes on the trunk lid that has me upset. I know it's a permanent install, but I can get past it mentally.
Wayne, are you planning on drilling holes in the trunk lid on the end locations or are you going to try and only use double sided tape on the ends?
