^ Thanks for the info.

Did anyone install the spoiler w/o drilling the 2 side holes? I just want to know if this would be possible w/o having any fitment issues.

I asked Ian about it, and he said that if you were to cut off the two outer mounting bolts, the spoiler might not sit flat against the trunk lid.

I just did this last week.... I wouldn't trust just the tape holding down the outside portions of the spoiler. Drilling into your G is fun anyway!

Do you use the existing holes that are already there from the factory spolier & plus drill new holes too for the new spoiler? Or do u not use the holes from the factory spoiler & if not do you close up those holes or not?

Great prices too.

OK, the rear spoiler.
Install is pretty straight forward, but a little more involved than a front lip.

1. Tape her up to prevent scratches.

2. There are 4 bolts and 2 pop clips holding the OE strip on.
& electrical connection(s)
Instructions say to pop off the OE chrome from the outside;
I found it much easier to pop the end clips from underneath.

3. underside after popping off.
- pull out grommet holding wires to completely remove.

4. 5 new hole drilled.
instructions say 8mm or 5/16" drill bit; I'd recommend an 8mm.
I used 5/16 & the end pop clips were REALLY tight to snap down.
8mm is a hair larger & would work better.

- tape around holes to prevent damage from filings.

5. mount buttton and bracket to underside of spoiler (not shown)
6. Done

Does the aftermarket spoiler clamp into the previous holes already there from the factory spoiler including drilling new holes or do you not use them holes? & if not do you cover over them holes or just leave them open

2008 g35 sedan oem lip spoiler

Hey all,

I am waaaaay late to this thread but was hoping someone could point me in the right direction in finding this oem spoiler lip.

Ive called Riverside Infiniti along with local ones to me in the midwest and no luck.

Need one painted in liquid platinum for my 2008 with no camera.

Thanks for any help

Cheers
