Has anybody else looked into LED location?
...I'm looking at one place to sneak it up behind the floating gauge pod.
I'm wondering how it would work as a HUD.

I'm probably going to try the vent idea you mentioned. I was looking at it yesterday, and although it's sorta low I think I'll still be able to see it.
Besides, even if it is low, the wires can always be extended to make it higher or wire in a larger/brighter LED. I like that it's "stealth" if it's in/behind the vents.

The BCM is the Body Control Module (located in the drivers kick panel on the older Gs and located in the passenger kick for the newer cars).
The VDC wires can be accessed right at the VDC switch.

Kevin, would the LED be bright enough to reflect off the glass like a HUD?

Kevin, how about starting a GB in the vendor section?
We could point to it from here.
....just thinking that there may be more interest than just the V36 guys
