Does this make a noise as well as the light kick on? That would be kewl, my last car did both, and I went off the sound more than the light.

No, there is no noise. With the super bright LED at eye level there is no need for a sound!

two different colors (amber/red) staged slightly apart.
or, amber set for DD use.

I was actually going to ask Kev if he ever considered a 2 channel unit.
