I didn't see one on the K & N website, however, they are selling it at the dealership where i got my car. when asked, they are selling the filters for $80 A PIECE!! i can't believe they are that expensive. And where are they getting the filters when K&N doesn't even have it??

I have been lazy, and haven't gotten around to it, but if you pull the filter out and cross-reference the part number on it with the K&N website, you should be able to find it. Another way would be to measure the stock filter.

I've had trouble in the past with K&N not releasing an "official" part number for a car. They personally test-fit the filters to the air box and test them before the officially release a part number, to limit their liability. On new models, it takes an extremely long time.

Do you think it would be worth the +$50 for the filters?

I really want to get it because it'll make the car sound way more aggressive and maybe a little bit of gain but if it's gonna cost me +100 bucks then I might have to think it over.

The ones I was looking at for my 2000 Honda Accord was ~40 bucks and I'm sure they're not gonna sell a pair for ~50 bucks so...

I hope they're not gonna be super expensive since we need two.

The stock part number is:16546-JK20A, no match at K&N.

I can't see it being worth the money, even in the longrun. You'll need 2, at around $40 a pop (at least). The stock filters are only around $15 a piece. I just replaced mine and it was under $40 installed at the dealer(at 13k miles), and I had it done while I waited for an oil change(free). The stock paper filters don't seem to be a big restriction, probably one of the reasons aftermarket intakes don't provide any dramatic increase in airflow or power. They're so cheap, it's easier and cheaper imo to just keep replacing to stock filter every 3rd oil change(that's my plan anyways ) I used K&N filters in the past, and I found it to be a PITA to get the filter really clean.

If you buy two K&N air filters you may as well buy four unless you want to dry them out in the oven (not recommended by K&N) or keep another pair of paper filters on hand to drive your car while the K&N's dry after you wash them. I found them to be a hassle and offer dubious or very little relative gain in HP.

A drop in filter replacement won't make it sound more aggressive.. You would need to replace the existing intake setup if you want more intake noise.

you beat me to it....i had a k&n drop in at first on my 05 max...believe it or not it did make it a little more responsive and there was a slight difference in noise. I woulnt call it more agressive....just sounded like it was breathing better.

There's a section on K&N site when you can suggest them to make a filter for your car (http://www.knfilters.com/products_needed/default.aspx), I requested filter for 2007 G35.

I also noticed everythingg35.com sells stock filters for $15.18 / pair.
