Quick question I am new to these kind of stuff. How often do you have to change and clean the filters?

depends on climate. If you live in a dusty, dirty place or drive down alot of dirt roads, you'd have to clean them more often. I did mine after every 2nd or 3rd oil change, anywhere between 10-15k miles.

if you decide to put on Stillen Dual High Flo Intake system they come with K&N filters which do not need to be cleaned as regularly as the stock filters. You can buy the K&N air filter cleaning kit when you do go to clean it..i would say every 20k miles to clean them or maybe even more

Waiting for a K+N drop in. The Stillen price for a non cai is steep at 400. I assume the filter is 80% of any hp increase on that system, even though I know I won't get that cool sound.

I have heard someones g35 sports with just a stillen intake, it screams when you step on it and it just gives you a sexy purr when not.

would JUST an intake (no aftermarket exhaust..yet) give any sound improvements? I expect the performance wont be altered but I'd pay $300 for an increase in volume.. until I can free up the 1k for the exhaust too.
