The 2-3 shift was certainly more noticeable on my '07 but not neutral-drop harsh. The grounding kit seemed to have smoothed it out though, you'll still feel it but it's less noticeable.

not sure if its just me but two times ive noticed that when i tried to shift from 2nd to 3rd my paddle shifter isnt switch. its like i hit the shift twice to move from 1st to 2nd to 3rd but it only goes to 2nd.

not sure if maybe i hit the shift sooo fast that it didnt work. im going pay closer attention to this noticed it once today and once like 2 months ago.

I wish I had paddle shifters. So many mods, so little cash...

My car has been hard shifting from 2nd gear to 3rd gear too...All the other gears shift fine.

This only happens during hard acceleration. However, when I use the tiptronic, sometimes the car would jerk slightly faster during the shift, as if the car wants to move faster forward.

I changed the transmission oil, and it fixed it for about a month, but it's come back again. Resetting the ECU does nothing either. Hopefully, there's nothing wrong with the transmission.

mine is going back to the dealer on monday for this issue along with a hesitation/stumble at like 3800 rpm in third ,they said the reprogram would fix it but guess what it didn't and I'm out of 60$

Mine does it when the car is cold..so now i drive in auto mode until the tranny fluid has a chance to warm up then its smooth shifting at any rpm....although i did notice some change with my grounding kit, it didnt resolve the issue entirely...

I'm guessing this is within 'normal' spec, since many people seem to have this issue.

I was worried for a while that my transmission was going bad or something....don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a new tranny...might as well trade the car in for the new 3 series BMW...haha
