Its an entry level luxury sport sedan, of course its not a 5 or 7 series GS or LS. Not a race car either vroom vroom.

funny how a post just disappeared. But I will leave my response anyway.

Please answer the question and educate me. Your the one that so emphatically stated it is not a luxury car. If I'm wrong please correct me. I am always willing to learn. Otherwise don't attack peoples posts! We all have opinions.

According to most car mags and consumers reportsthe G35 is an "upscale" not a "luxury" car. This is similar to the difference between "bridge" and "designer" in women's fashion. Upscale is a tad below luxury.

But I will say that for under 40K the G is about as "luxurious" as you can get and luxurious enough for me.

Dude dont get you panties in a wad. Your an adult right. Whats? Did anything here buy the 07 g35 because it felt like a luxury car. Im sure you meant , Did anyone here buy the 07 G35 because they felt it was a Luxury car? Call it up scale call it an economy car if it makes you feel any better. Im ok with it, really its ok. To me its a luxury sports sedan. To me upscale is an avalon or maxima. Anything Infiniti, Lexus... is a luxury car to me. But to each his own.

To be honest with you, I have buyers remorse about my car. Yeah it's a great car, but I came from a modded out BMW 3 series hoping to keep that luxuary feel with a 300hp motor. Not the case. I got a 300hp motor with a knock off luxuary car, which I have a 3 year lease. I am currently arguing with Infiniti on getting the damn tip in fixed the right way. They are talking about some pressure problem in the tranny that they are looking into fixing in the near future. They say it is still in the research department at Nissan. I already had the 28 TSB done, absolutely NO HELP at all. I should have gotten the used 06 BMW 550 I found.......

This topic hasnt been brought up for a while. So I just called me local infiniti and they told me in order for me to get these ITBs done I would need to drain out my synthetic oil and swap it out for regular oil. Any of you guys have your service rep tell you this?

Okay so I have been told that I need to switch to dino oil before I get these TSB's done. I cant be using full synthetic the guy stated. He said it is thicker then regular oil which I have not a clue to wtf he is saying. To anyone who has had these TSB's done have they asked you what kind of oil you are using?
Also is there a way they can tell if its synthetic or regular because Im about to just go in and say I swapped it with regular oil already myself.

My service rep didn't ask me what kind of oil I was running before he agreed to perform TSB 45. That sounds like a load of bs to me.

Don't forget that service reps are salesmen just like any other, they just sell (and get paid based on) service instead of cars.

To me, whatever services your rep thinks are required to perform TSB 45 shouldn't matter, they should all be covered by the warranty which entitles you to a fix via TSB 45. Maybe tell him you're pretty sure a new set of tires is also a prerequisite.

Why would you change your oil at 1000 miles?
